22 Dec

The year 2011 has been a great year for Samake2012. The support is mounting in Mali as Yeah attempts to win the hearts of the 14 million Malians. The link below chronicles our journey in Mali to date.

NOTE: It does take a bit to load. Please click on the first slide to make it bigger and then click on “Show Details” in the bar above. The arrows on that same bar will take you through the whole timeline.

Thank you for all the support you have been to Samake2012 in 2011. The year 2012 will spell great challenges but also great rewards as the election is held in April. Please continue to support us at and make events like those shown above possible. We cannot win without you. Mali deserves a better future.

What a wonderful review of the work that has been done! I loved the music, too. Thanks for creating and sharing this.

I am so impressed by all that Mayor Samake has accomplished in a year’s time! Incredible! I look forward to his continued adventure in 2012…he will be the change that Mali needs.

I love the music! Who wrote that?

A local musician from Ouelessebougou wrote both songs. One of them was made when Yeah ran for Mayor. The first one is the new one for the Presidential campaign. Very talented young man called Petit Ballo and a great Samake2012 supporter!
